Description

The Korean Magnetics Association was officially established on November 9, 1990, for the purpose of "contributing to the promotion of industry through the improvement of technology and the academic development of basics and applications of magnetism."

The number of members, from 100 at the time of establishment, has steadily increased to close to 1,300 now. The membership consists of researchers in the sciences and engineering fields related to magnetism in physics, metal and material engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, etc. and people related to magnetism industries, and magnetism-related industries are registered as special members.
