Publications Overview

Body

IEEE Magnetics Society Publications consist of sponsored and co-sponsored journals, conference proceedings and a newsletter.

Body

The editors of Magnetics Society journals and conference proceedings are opposed to all forms of bibliometric (impact factor) manipulation. Do not include gratuitous or irrelevant references to articles published in Magnetics Society journals. In the same spirit, the editors expect authors to not excessively cite their own prior publications.

  • IEEE Transactions on Magnetics (TransMag) is a peer-reviewed, archival journal in science and technology related to the basic physics and engineering of magnetism, magnetic materials, applied magnetics, magnetic devices, and magnetic data storage.

  •  IEEE Magnetics Letters (IML) is a rapid-publication, primarily electronic, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to magnetics articles of substantial current interest.

  • While IEEE Access scope is multidisciplinary, the IEEE Magnetics Society Section focuses on theory and applications of magnetism, magnetic materials, and magnetic devices.

Co-sponsored Publications

  • IEEE Transactions on Quantum Engineering publishes regular, review, and tutorial articles based on the engineering applications of quantum phenomena, including quantum computation, information, communication, software, hardware, devices, and metrology.

Conference Proceedings

International Conference on Magnetics (INTERMAG)

Intermag is the premier conference on applied magnetics and information storage technologies. As a member of the international scientific and engineering communities interested in recent developments in magnetics and associated technologies, please plan to attend the conferences and contribute to one or more of its technical sessions.
