I specialize in the synthesis and characterization of magnetic thin films and devices. Working at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), I lead the Magnetic Thin Films Project within the Functional Nanostructured Materials Group. My focus includes magnetic materials with high spin polarization, magnetostrictive properties, and controlled anisotropy, utilizing the unique 14-target physical vapor deposition tool at the Magnetic Engineering Research Facility. My expertise lies in advancing instrumentation and metrology tailored to the needs of the magnetic memory industry. With a commitment to innovative research, I contribute to developing materials and devices that support low-power, high-density spintronics applications
