2026-2027 Distinguished Lecturer Series

Nomination Deadline: June 15, 2025 

Update: Starting in 2025, three Distinguished Lecturers will be elected each year and will serve a two-year term, ensuring that, from 2027 on, we will always have six active Distinguished Lecturers.

Please keep in mind the principal criteria for the selection of Distinguished Lecturers: 

• Excellence in some field of magnetics. This is not limited to excellence in research, but should also recognize the important contributions of individuals in developing the applied/technical aspects of magnetics.
• Excellent communication skills: The main aim is to inspire and enthuse, especially young researchers entering a career in magnetics.
• The nominee should be a member of the IEEE Magnetics Society.
