About Awards
For all Magnetics Society awards: Eligibility and selection process shall comply with procedures and regulation established in IEEE and Society/Council governing documents, particularly with IEEE Policy 4.4 on Awards Limitations.
Previous recipients are ineligible: An individual shall receive only one award for a given achievement unless the significance merits a higher award, which may be given in the following year or thereafter.

DescriptionTo recognize outstanding service to the IEEE Magnetics Society and magnetics community.

IEEE Magnetics Society Early Career Award
DescriptionTo recognize an individual, nominated not more than 5 years after completion of his or her PhD, and who has already shown outstanding scientific or technical achievements which have been significantly beyond the average performance of a person at that career level.

DescriptionTo recognize exceptional technical accomplishments in the field of magnetics and outstanding contributions to the Magnetics Society and magnetics community.

IEEE Fellow
Description"IEEE Fellow" is a distinction reserved for select IEEE members whose extraordinary accomplishments in any of the IEEE fields of interest are deemed fitting for this prestigious grade elevation. The total number selected in any one year does not exceed one-tenth of one percent of the total voting Institute membership.
