Magnetics Call for Applications

The Conference Executive Committee (CEC) of the IEEE Magnetics Society is requesting proposals for the 2027 Intermag Conference to be held in the Asia/Pacific region. 

The Intermag Conference is the flagship annual magnetics conference sponsored by the Magnetics Society of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). It is the premier conference on all aspects of pure and applied magnetism In the upcoming years a typical attendance of approximately 1200 Ph.D.’s and Ph.D. candidates in both engineering and physics from all over the world is expected. This conference has been in existence for more than sixty years and since 2016 the approved stand-alone Intermag site rotation is Americas–Europe–Asia/Pacific. Every third year Intermag is held together with the Conference on Magnetism and Magnetic Materials (MMM) in North America as a JOINT Conference. Recent host cities in the Asia/Pacific region were Beijing (2015), Singapore (2018), and Sendai (2023).
